MAI0080 Course information

Organisation: Seminars according to the list. Usually we will try to collect speakers and try to have a period with seminars roughly once a week. The seminars, given by the doctoral students, should be presentations of their research areas and not detailed seminars. The presentation should be followed by a discussion about the contents of the seminar and also about the presentation technique.

Examination: Active participation (at least 12 seminars) and one seminar given by the student. It is running examination, i.e., the student does not have to finish the course in one year.

Prerequisites: The participants must be accepted to post-graduate studies at the Department of Mathematics. Master's students are welcome to follow the seminars, but will not be awarded any credits
