Lecture 8: Some applications

A few (rather obvious) slips of the tongue:

  • At 25:55, "g tends to infinity at infinity" should be zero.
  • At 31:29, "unless you are exactly at the origin" should be equilibrium.
  • At 52:56, "u-dot or du/dt" should be du/dτ (tau, not t).
  • At 56:19, "you pick a combination of parameters such that the trace is possible" should be positive.
