TAMS22 - Sannolikhetsteori och bayesianska nätverk

To all registered participants in TAMS22: last Friday, I sent out an email to all of you with information about the course. For some reason, many of you did not receive the email. I therefore reprint the text here:

As you may already know, the course TAMS22 will be given as a distance course in HT1. In practice, this will work as follows:

1) The lectures will be replaced by pre-recorded films. A film will under normal circumstances be made available on the course homepage no later than the time when the corresponding lecture is scheduled to start. (Sometimes the films will be made available earlier than that.)

2) The tutorial sessions will be carried out as Zoom meetings. Before each tutorial session, a link to the meeting will be sent out by email. During the meeting we keep our microphones shut off in order not to disturb one another. If anyone of you has a question for me, you either write "I have a question" in the meeting chat, or push the button "raise your hand". I will then open a so-called "breakout room", where we can talk in private (without disturbing the other participants). If you want to show me your computations, you can for example take a picture of them and upload it to your computer desktop, and then "share the screen" with me in Zoom.

Apart from these things, everything is normal. You will find the information you need about the course on the course homepage. (Some of the information, for example the plan for the lectures and tutorials, is incomplete, and will be completed later, as the course proceeds.) If you have any questions, send me an email.

Best regards, Torkel Erhardsson
